Fill In The Blank Friday

1.   My plans this summer include       work, more work, going to fires, swimming, and more work. Exciting huh?

2.  The best summer I ever had was    last summer was pretty good. Lots of concerts and I actually had money!

3.  Summer is     ice cream, flip flops, sun dresses, days at the lake, concerts in the park, and cold beer on the patio with my love.

4.  My favorite summer food is   strawberries. I LOVE strawberries.

5.  The best way to quench a summer thirst is with    ice cold beer. I should say ice cold, good beer.  None of that cheap stuff.

6.  My summer uniform consists of       shorts and t-shirts. Not to be confused of my winter uniform of jeans and t-shirts.

7.  The best thing about summer is       swimming.  Unless you have a heated pool, but that kinda defeats the purpose.

Fill In The Blank Friday

1.   The best news I ever received was       that I was approved to buy my new truck. I would have been in so much trouble if I didn't have a dependable truck for work.

2.  Something I'm looking forward to is    having date night when my love doesn't have to work. It will be so nice to have to rush dinner and be able to go out and do something. Yay for a decent paycheck!

3.  Something I would never do is   wear crocs. I'm sure they're very comfortable, but I just can't bring myself to do it.

4.  If I could choose someone to be my life coach (famous or not, living or dead), I'd choose   Jillian Michaels. That lady is seriously scary, but I would be getting stuff done and probably lose this weight faster.

5.  If I had to put a label on my style it would be    comfortable.  I'm not really into fashion. I'm in jeans and t-shirts most of the time. When a dress-up occasion comes along I usually have to go out and buy something to wear.

6.  One should always      get enough sleep. I am so cranky when I'm tired.

7.  I want to      go to the beach this summer. I haven't been in forever and I miss it.

Fill In The Blank Friday

1.   The last thing I ate was       a southwest caesar salad from Fresh & Easy. Soooooooo goooooooddddd. I love the dressing and it's only about 350 calories with the dressing. Pure awesomeness.

2.  The next thing I'd like to eat is    boarding house potatoes from Sandy's here in town.  I have been craving them for days.

3.  The best things     are children that don't whine constantly. Seriously, the boy just woke up and came into my room to complain about the heat. Hello! It's summer.  I don't possess the ability to control the temperature outside. Sit under the fan!

4.  Something that makes me supremely and utterly happy is   seeing Jason play with the kids and the way their faces light up when they hear he's coming over, (and no dear, it's not just because of the dog).

5.  Sports are     annoying when the televised games take over shows I would normally watch.  I honestly couldn't care less about basketball or just about anything else. I tolerate the soccer because most of the time Jason smells good and I can cuddle with him and take a nap while he watches it. It's all about compromise folks.

6.  I miss       having the time I did when I was a stay at home mom. Darn school and having a job. Having my own money is nice though. 

7.  Right now I am       thinking about what to have for breakfast  . 

Five Question Friday

1. What is your favorite summer time activity?

Swimming. I love being in the water.

2. Do you have one laundry soap you stick to, or do you buy whatever's on sale?

I prefer Tide, but sometimes I just have to go with what I can afford.

3. What is your favorite dinner to make in the summer?

Taco salad, and now I'm hungry.

4. Do you have any talents?

Yes, lots.  Being a smartass is one of them. 

5. If you could instantly be an expert in something, what would it be? Why?

Photography. Because it's fun and I like it.

1.   This weekend I'm       going to my cousins graduation party   and      I will not eat like it's the last time I'll ever be near food. I am not on Survivor.

2.  My last vacation was    um, what's a vacation? I don't think I've ever actually taken a vacation.  .

3.  My next vacation will be     I don't know, how sad is that? I'm hoping for Disneyland on my birthday next year. *hint,hint*  .

4.  My favorite way to relax is   cuddle up with Jason and watch tv. I usually fall asleep so it must be pretty relaxing!

5.  When vacationing one should always     remember to pack extra chonies. Haha. Sorry. Um, one should always remember the reason for taking a vacation and running around to see all the sights may not be the most relaxing thing in the world.

6.  When vacationing one should never       cash out airplane tickets to buy more beer. Not having a way to get home, no bueno.  *I'm such a smartass*

7.  The best part about a vacation is      having time to de-stress. I really need one of these vacation thingys ya'll are talking about.

1.   I love       cheesecake  because      because it's delicious.  It is heaven on a plate. Wait a minute, who needs a plate?

2.  A time that mama knew best was    when she told me to wait to get married and I didn't.  You were right mom.  Big mistake.  Oops.

3.  My first kiss went a little like this     he asked if he could kiss me and I said okay.  I was in second grade.  His name was Chris.  We were under the slide.  Everybody was grossed out. Lol

4.  My celebrity crush is   Ryan Gosling (me too Lauren!).He's cute and he's funny.

5.  My splurge of choice is     Starbucks. I've been doing that too much lately.

6.  My biggest accomplishment is       getting my Bachelor's degree. I still have two months to go before I actually get it, but I'm close enough!

7.  My dance jam of choice is      I don't really have one.  That's kinda sad. I guess I'll have to find one.

Fill In The Blank Friday

1.   If I could get away somewhere for the weekend I would go      to Jamaica because I could use some rum right now and I would bring     Jason and my parents. I need a vacation from my kids right now.

2.  Something I often rant about is   mostly stuff that's totally out of my control so the ranting is useless. But I do it any way.

3.  One item I need to have in my fridge at all time is    beer. Don't judge me.

4.  My "life-saving" product is   chapstick? That's probably the only thing I use on a consistent basis.

5.  A friend is someone who    you can be a total dork around and they love you any way. (thanks baby!)

6.  If I could write my own blank it would be       The one item I can't live without is . . . . . . .  (and it can't be an electronic device, no phones or cameras or laptops!)

7.  My favorite kind of art is     photography. I've always loved it. I love taking pictures.

1.   People always tell me I look like  Winona Ryder or Sara Gilbert.  I actually haven't gotten that in a while, so it's kinda nice.  I don't think I look even remotely close to either one of them.

2.  Friends don't let friends  do stupid stuff without taking pictures! 

3.  A sunny day is perfect for   going for a long walk and then hanging out in the backyard drinking beer with my love.

4.  My favorite accessory is my necklace from Jason. I don't really have accessories other than that.  I don't really count my jewelry for my piercings for some reason. They're just there.

5.  If I could afford it I would   move out of my parents house.

6.  The cure for boredom is  bug Jason, either in person or via text.  Poor guy. I get bored a lot.

7.  I am currently "in like" with  venti skinny caramel macchiatos. I want to just buy that stuff by the gallon.

Fill in the Blank Friday

1. What I love most about my home is       my pretty new blanket. Seriously. I haven't had new bedding in years, and I got to go and pick this one out all by myself and it's beautiful, and I love it.

 

 

2. I'm excited because,    I have less than three months of school left. Of course within six months I'll be starting my Master's program, but for right now, I'm almost done.

3. My preferred method for blowing off steam when I'm frustrated is     lately, crying. Usually it's drinking, so I'm not really sure that I'm all that much better off but it's not all that bad.

4. Currently I am craving   chocolate beer and pretzel m&ms. That sounds so good right now.

 

5. The thing I love most about my mom is     that no matter what kind of stupid stunt I pull, she loves me any way. I honestly don't think I could pick just one. She drives me nuts, but she's my mom, and she's awesome.

6. If I was going to write a book about my life, the title would be       "Down but not out" because I keep getting knocked on my ass, but I haven't given up yet.

7. If I were to eat one thing for the rest of eternity it would be       pizza. There's a lot you can do with pizza. I'd love to say cheesecake, but a day and a half in I would puke and die.



Fill in the Blank Friday

1. I am looking forward to       getting my new truck! By this time tomorrow the POS Jeep will be history and I'll hopefully have a reliable truck again.

2. Something kind of embarassing that I still love anyway is    my Build A Bears. I'm such a dork, but I don't care.  The kids love them and it's fun. I think the reason I'm such a good teacher is that I still love to play with toys. Sometimes, I think I'm having more fun than the kids.

3. My favorite car is     1969 Mach 1 Mustang Fastback. Wow, it's almost like I answered that question today already.

4. If I could pick one type of weather to live with for the rest of my life it would be    kind of like the weather we've had lately, minus the wind.  Warm enough during the day for shorts and a t-shirt, but cool enough at night to need a sweatshirt.

 

5. My favorite thing to do after a bad/stressful day is     sit in the backyard and have a drink with my boyfriend or my parents. 

6. This weekend       I will be going to a training for the Red Cross to learn how to set up emergency shelters and showing off my new truck!

7. If I were a color, I'd be       blue      because,       it's my favorite color. Isn't that a good enough reason?

Fill in the Blank Friday

1. Fridays are the best and worst day of the week.  The kiddos go to their dads which means I get a little break. But it also means that they're gone. That's never good.

2.    My kids and my boyfriend   make me terribly happy.

3. Something that inspires me is knowing my kids are depending on me and watching me go to school and work hard so I can take care of them.

4. If I had the day off today I would     look for a new truck. Hopefully I can find one before my Jeep blows up and dies.

5. If I had to put a label on my home decor style, I would say my style is  uh, what's a home decor style. Just kidding. I don't think I can put a label on it, other than cheap Wally World furniture.

6. Concerning politics I would say I'm       actually pretty sick of politics. Blech

7. I'd like to go to       Jamaica      so I could lay on the beach drinking beer and relax with my love.
