I'm finishing up my last few weeks of school and this last week has been filled with mass amounts of homework and fire calls for the Red Cross. Hopefully after this weekend my world will return to semi-normal and I can get a chance to experience a normal sleep pattern again.

In two years you're going to meet a guy and you'll think he's great, but he's not. Your first instinct will be to run, do it.
Stay in school! When you start college, stay there and finish it. Don't fuck around and skip class. You don't realize how important it is now, but you will later. Please stay active, you love swimming and you're good at it. You'll miss it terribly one day if you quit now. I know you think you're hurt but the pain is only temporary and you can keep going. Don't just listen to the first doctor you talk to.
Be yourself. Be true to your heart, you know who you are and anybody that doesn't love you the way you are doesn't deserve a second thought. Don't wait until you're in your 30s to start showing the world how wonderful you are. There are people out there that need you.

Fill In The Blank Friday
1. My plans this summer include work, more work, going to fires, swimming, and more work. Exciting huh?
2. The best summer I ever had was last summer was pretty good. Lots of concerts and I actually had money!
3. Summer is ice cream, flip flops, sun dresses, days at the lake, concerts in the park, and cold beer on the patio with my love.
4. My favorite summer food is strawberries. I LOVE strawberries.
5. The best way to quench a summer thirst is with ice cold beer. I should say ice cold, good beer. None of that cheap stuff.
6. My summer uniform consists of shorts and t-shirts. Not to be confused of my winter uniform of jeans and t-shirts.
7. The best thing about summer is swimming. Unless you have a heated pool, but that kinda defeats the purpose.

No, I think cursive needs to stay a part of the curriculum. I hate trying to read crappy hand writing.

Most of it's on my smart phone, although for work I type one up. I can't get it to sync with my phone for some reason.

If I've been hit on by another woman I was totally not paying attention. Hahahaha, makes complete sense I only pay attention when I'm flirting with someone. Love is the physical stuff plus the emotional/mental. Lust is purely physical. Lust is brief and comes and goes. Love lasts, love is what is constant. Love is what makes you stay together after the lust is over.

Who or what is my inspiration, and why?
It depends on what we're talking about. If we're talking about going to school, then my kids inspire me. I want to show them that hard work pays off and education is important. Also, how not to get stuck living with your parents in your 30s. That's important. If we're talking about work, then it's the kids I work with. I actually had to think about this one a little bit. I hate being lied to and so I really try not to lie. Even about little stuff, cause it can all come back to bite you in the ass eventually. I was lied to so much, for so long that I just don't want to do that to other people. But thinking about it, everybody lies, even little so called white lies and we all have our reasons. So here it is, I lie every day. I tell a parent that their child did great in session because I don't want them to give up on their child. If I tell them that I couldn't get their child to do anything and they aren't making any progress, then what does that parent have left? I lie to myself that if I keep going there and working with this child that he will eventually start to make progress, and the child is, a little bit, but it's so hard making myself go there.

This one is easy. Getting married to my now ex-husband. Hell, even dating that asshat is embarassing. Long story short and it is a really fucking long story, almost 13 years of misery long; he lied, he cheated, he treated me like shit. It took me a long time to dig myself out of my pit of despair and tell him to kick rocks. I don't like the fact that I stayed in that poor excuse for a relationship for so long, but I can honestly say that I'm a much stronger person for it. I learned my lesson and certainly won't make the same mistake again. I made much better choices this time around and being with such a colossal douche for so long has made me really appreciate my boyfriend now. I lost a little over 80 pounds, or as my mom likes to say about 220 pounds, the fat and the dead weight that was my ex, put myself through school and am getting my life back on track. That being said, I think sometimes we have to go through hell to get to where we're supposed to be. Not that everything happens for a reason, but sometimes you have to be slapped in the face with your own bad decisions to realize you're being a total shit head and you need to pull your head out of your ass, but on your big girl chonies and deal with that shit.

So my first experience with alcohol was pretty boring. I was at a party, somebody's parents were out of town and of course we threw a party. I think I was drinking wine coolers haha! I was 15, what the fuck did I know. I didn't get completely wasted or anything. At least not enough to do something incredibly stupid. I do that shit sober! Now, my 21st birthday, that's a completely different story. You should have asked about that one bitch! Hahahahaha

Fill In The Blank Friday
1. The best news I ever received was that I was approved to buy my new truck. I would have been in so much trouble if I didn't have a dependable truck for work.
2. Something I'm looking forward to is having date night when my love doesn't have to work. It will be so nice to have to rush dinner and be able to go out and do something. Yay for a decent paycheck!
3. Something I would never do is wear crocs. I'm sure they're very comfortable, but I just can't bring myself to do it.
4. If I could choose someone to be my life coach (famous or not, living or dead), I'd choose Jillian Michaels. That lady is seriously scary, but I would be getting stuff done and probably lose this weight faster.
5. If I had to put a label on my style it would be comfortable. I'm not really into fashion. I'm in jeans and t-shirts most of the time. When a dress-up occasion comes along I usually have to go out and buy something to wear.
6. One should always get enough sleep. I am so cranky when I'm tired.
7. I want to go to the beach this summer. I haven't been in forever and I miss it.

I'm going to say yes, even though with my back problems I'm not sure if I might actually paralyze myself. It's probably a lot of fun. Scary as hell, but lots of fun.

Oh, I miss going to the drive in. Definitely drive-in.

No. Unless you count my mom bringing them home. Haha

Pluck. I used to have them waxed, but that costs money and I don't have a lot of that right now. If I didn't tame them some how it would just be scary. I'd look like Groucho Marx.
