Thursday Thirteen

Words That Don't Get Used Enough Any More

  1. Floozy. We say ho or slut, but what about floozy.  Plus it's fun to say.
  2. Cretin
  3. Kerfuffle
  4. Caddywompas
  5. Moxie
  6. Chortle
  7. Hullabaloo
  8. Tomfoolery
  9. Flibbertigibbet
  10. Crapulence. Yes, it really is a word
  11. Tarnation. That word makes me giggle and I have no idea why.
  12. Huzzah. Okay, Jason still uses it, but does anybody else? LOL
  13. Carouse. Drink heavily. Oh yes, that sounds great.

Kerfuffle I've seen recently in an urban fantasy, but the others just don't get out anymore. Odd, since you'd think Floozy would be more successful at making the rounds. *grin*

That's a great list; I am always trying to use seldom-used words. Of course, people look at you funny... but who cares??

that is a great list! Kerfuffle and Carouse are a couple of my faves but am going to have to use a few from your lists more often! Floozy! Love it!

These were great...some of them are words I haven't thought of in years. Just the other day, my husband said "kittywumpus" (obviously a derivative of how you spelled it), and I just looked at him and said, "Did you just say kittywumpus???" :)

Hope you'll check out my list:
